Background
The World Famous Shanghai'd Room is a hidden gem welcoming locals and visitors alike. Voted the best lounge in Southern California, specializing in nighttime karaoke, a full liquor bar, affordable craft cocktails, and beers. They have a unique ambiance with an inviting retro vibe, vintage decor, 5 TVs playing eccentric movies, sports, and a Touchtunes jukebox for entertainment.
The Challenge
The client needed a refresh of their brand identity and a website used as a central hub for their die-hard regulars and soon-to-be adopters. The main challenge was to separate the daytime from the nighttime business without losing their overall look and feel. They wanted to tell their story and build a visual identity backed by their core values and business goals to complement their existing logo. So this meant creating new brand assets and developing a brand strategy to lead their overall style and brand messaging to attract their ideal customers. We did a complete brand audit to discover ways to help increase conversion and developed a website and social media templates to put to use for their channels.
